Condo Milestone Inspection Photos

Aerial documentation of roofs, facades, and balconies to support milestone inspections performed by your licensed engineer or architect.

What you get

Florida’s milestone inspection requirements for condominium buildings put a spotlight on building exteriors, and on the upper floors that are hardest to see. Aerial Vantage FL supplies the aerial photo documentation; the inspection itself is performed by your licensed engineer or architect.

  • Roof overviews and detail photos, including roof equipment and edges
  • Elevation-by-elevation facade photos, from ground level to the top floor
  • Balcony, railing, and exterior walkway views from outside the building
  • Photo sets organized by elevation and floor so the engineer or architect can find any area fast

Who it’s for

Condominium associations and their boards, community association managers, and the engineering and architecture firms that perform milestone inspections. Engineers and architects often use aerial photos to review upper-floor conditions before deciding where hands-on access is needed.

We document visible conditions only. We do not perform the milestone inspection, assess structural condition, or sign off on any report; that work belongs to your licensed engineer or architect.

How it works

  1. Shot list. We work from your engineer’s or architect’s requirements so the photos match what the inspection needs.
  2. Notice and planning. The association notifies residents, and we plan around wind, coastal weather, and any airspace limits.
  3. Capture. Each elevation and the roof are flown systematically, keeping the camera on the building exterior.
  4. Delivery. Organized, high-resolution files are delivered by download link to the association and its engineer or architect.

Why aerial photos help

Ground-level photos of a tall building lose detail on the upper floors, and getting close usually means lifts, swing stages, or rooftop access. A drone can capture each elevation floor by floor from a consistent distance, giving the engineer or architect a complete visual record to review alongside their own inspection. The same photo set also gives the association a dated record of the building’s exterior.

Turnaround and service area

Photos are delivered within 24–48 hours of the flight. We serve condominium buildings throughout Volusia, Seminole, and Flagler counties, including oceanfront and riverfront buildings. The business is FAA Part 107 certified and fully insured.

FAQ

Common questions

Does this replace the milestone inspection?

No. Our photos support milestone inspections performed by a licensed engineer or architect. We do not perform the inspection or assess the structure.

Who decides what gets photographed?

Your engineer or architect. We build the shot list from their requirements and organize the delivery to match.

What about residents’ privacy?

The association notifies residents before the flight, and the camera stays on the building exterior: roofs, facades, balconies, and railings.

How fast are photos delivered?

Within 24–48 hours of the flight, organized by elevation and floor.
